Geoff Armstrong

Geoff Armstrong is a specialist in Ecommerce/Database Management with a background of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Experienced in Digital Mapping, Digital Capture, Management of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and the implementation of CAD Training Systems. For the past decade, Geoff has worked as Corporate Database and E-Commerce Manager for Fugro Data Solutions with responsibilities for full co-ordination of all data, databases and web initiatives for both internal and external clients.

Karen Blohm

Karen Blohm is a geologist with 22 years oil and gas sector experience. She has had a dedicated focus on data management and technology business issues for the last 15 years and as Head of Consultancy for Fugro Data Solutions, she is member of the senior management team responsible for the provision of professional data management services, the development and delivery of data rich products and innovative technology based solutions.

Paul Carey

Paul Carey is a petroleum geologist (PhD, Queens, Belfast) with 15 years experience in consultancy, industry and academia. His specialist areas include fluid migration and geochemistry, microthermometry, sedimentology, structural controls on sedimentation and field geology. He is currently Head of Global Multiclient & Digital Products at Fugro Data Solutions Ltd, having previously been Head of Geochemistry in Fugro Robertson. He is also Director (UWC) of the University of the Western Cape's South African Petroleum Studies Program and holds the professorship in Petroleum Geology for Cape Town South Africa, where he still delivers the academic program in petroleum geology & petroleum engineering.

Hans Erren

Hans Erren is a geophysicist (MSc Utrecht) with 20 years experience in Geographic Information Systems. At Fugro Data Solutions he is GIS trainer and responsible for geodetic QC of geospatial data. Before working for Fugro he was employed by the International Geo-Education Institute ITC in the Netherlands and mining company Rio Tinto in the United Kingdom.

Nico Pepping

Nico Pepping is a geologist (Msc University of Amsterdam) and GIS and Oracle DBMS specialist. He has 10 years experience in the oil & gas industry as a consultant for basin analysis studies (sedimentology/stratigraphy) and consecutive 10 years of experience in GIS projects for Environmental organisations and the Oil&Gas industry. He is a senior consultant in subsurface data management/GIS for Fugro Data Solutions B.V.

Caspar Schoorl

Caspar has an extensive 12 years experience with the ArcGIS product family and general GIS data management. He setup and carried out large GIS and data management projects for the Port of Rotterdam (the second largest port in the world), the Dutch National Railway Company, Brussels International Airport and Shell operated Sakhalin Energy. Caspar has been closely involved in the development and the roll-out of the Fugro Data Solutions ArcGIS for Geoscientists course.

Malcolm Stuart

Malcolm is a geoscientist with extensive experience of large scale E&P Data Management projects for a wide variety of clients, with an emphasis in the processing, interpretation and quality control of sub surface data. He has spent a number of years working out of clients offices to ensure that data quality standards are implemented and enforced, to ensure the integrity of corporate data. This has included dedicated periods of skills transfer to support the sustainability objectives of National Oil Companies.

Richard Taylor

As Manager of Seismic Data Conditioning for Fugro Data Solutions, Richard is an experienced geoscientist with experience in Seismic and well log reconstruction and processing. His skills include GIS project design and geodetic manipulation, and he is a specialist in all aspects of data scanning, vectorisation and processing.

Prasad Vadali

A specialist in Solution Architecture, Project Management, Business Development, Consultancy, GIS/Mapping and Internet technologies. Prasad has over 20 years experience (18 years in exploration industry) in project management, team leading, consultancy, user requirement analysis and software development in the areas of computer graphics, databases and GIS.
